Organizer makes it easy for you to create and send emails to your Communities.
Before creating an email effort, keep the following limits and recommendations in mind:
- Email efforts are limited to 50,000 profiles
- If you intend to send an email to 5,000 profiles or more, see the requirements outlined in Email Deliverability and Sender Best Practices
To create an email outreach effort, follow these steps:
- Go to Outreach > Email and click Create New.
- Enter your preferred Email Name in the popup box. This is different from the subject line. The Email Name you select will be associated with your email within Organizer and will not be visible to recipients.
- Click Create Email.
- In the Basics tab, select a list or segment under target community, and then select from the available lists or segments. When selecting a segment, Segments which contain unsupported data and would not contain profiles are marked with an alert symbol

- Enter Sender Information such as the subject line, preview text, from name and email and reply to name and email. Click Next.
- In the Template tab, select one of the pre-populated, customizable templates or create and save a customized email template, then click Next.
- In the Design tab, you have a wide range of ways to format your email.
- The Content Menu provides content options you can can add directly into your email such as paragraphs for text, lists, images, buttons, dividers. Customize settings for a specific content item in the right hand menu.
- The Rows menu allows you to add horizontal rows with pre-set column widths. For example, you can add a row that is divided to have content in two columns that divide the row in half or you could add a row that has a split of content of one third and two thirds of the row width. Once you add a row, you can then add content such as images or text to the row’s columns.
- The Settings menu allows you to customize the width for the email, alignment of the contents, background color, font, and link color.
- You can save your work as a template for future use. Note that if you make changes to an email template the changes are applied to any email campaign using that template still in draft mode.

Click Next and go to the Finish tab to review and verify the previously included information.

Send Test Email: We strongly recommend sending a test email to ensure it works as intended.
- Note: Test emails do not count as Interactions and are not charged to your payment method.
- Schedule Email: If you choose to schedule your email, input the date and time you want the email to be sent. The email will be scheduled based on the date and time you selected according to your device's timezone.
- Send Now: This action sends the email immediately to the selected Community.

- Click Finish.
- Once you launch your effort or schedule your effort for launch, the community (list or segment) and it's profiles become static. So the profiles associated with a segment won't change through the email effort.

When viewing your email in draft mode before you finish it, you may be alerted if the email’s target community is a segment that contains unsupported data which would impact the number of profiles in the segment
