Ensuring the security of our Partners' data is very important to us. This article summarizes some of Murmuration's methods for maintaining strong data protection.
Encryption
Organizer uses the latest encryption for storing and transferring data. This ensures that connections among our users and our servers are secure. When data is encrypted, it is converted into a scrambled format so it cannot be understood without being deciphered. Encryption protects data in storage as well as data being transferred from one computer to another.
Users must pass an authentication test before they are allowed to access any Partner profile information. This ensures that only valid connections and requests are allowed.
Data Backup
There are multiple copies of all data. Data is continuously backed up and stored on redundant systems to prevent loss of information. We also preserve periodic backups that allow us to roll back to a previous instance in case some catastrophic event damages or destroys the most recent copy of any data.
Access Control
Access control reduces the risk of a security incident by specifying who has permission to view, copy, edit, or delete stored data. These permissions are based on job responsibilities and roles.
Browser Security
Organizer uses end-to-end encryption to maintain the confidentiality of website interactions. End-to-end encryption, like HTTPS, encodes the data between a user's web browser and the Organizer website, protecting sensitive information from being viewed or stolen by unauthorized people.
