We highly recommend including one of the three types of unique identifiers (IDs) in your imports of profile data (Profile ID, Murm ID, or External ID). See Mapping Logic for more information.
Minimum for Attempted Matching
If you are unable to include IDs in your imports, at minimum you must include the following “Sources” in your uploaded CSV to attempt matching imported data to profiles already in your account:
- First Name
- Last Name
-
One or Both of:
- Zip Code
- State
Recommended for Attempted Matching
To maximize your match rates, we recommend including additional information in your uploaded CSV.
-
One or more of the following points of contact information:
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Address 1 and City or County
- Birthdate
If you have more Sources that can map to Organizer destinations, we recommend doing so, as this may increase the number of successfully and accurately matched records. You may wish to include record numbers identifying where the data originated from such as student ID or salesforce ID. These can be added as External IDs during the import mapping process.
Mapping Source Data to Destinations in Organizer
After you upload your file into Organizer, you’ll need to map each “source” column to the destination field in Organizer.
