Atlas powers every part of Murmuration’s ecosystem and serves as the civic data infrastructure behind our insights, tools, and services. By combining an enriched voter file with a continuously evolving model suite, Atlas provides a more complete picture of civic life—helping organizations better understand communities and drive more effective strategy.
At its foundation, Atlas creates a more comprehensive view of people and communities by including an enriched voter file that combines multiple national sources with consumer, census, and our own research and polling data. Built on top is a continuously evolving, comprehensive in-house suite of modeling scores. Our models take what we know about a person’s civic behavior and estimate what we don't: how they'll vote, what they care about, whether they'll show up.
Behind the scenes, our research and data teams continuously improve Atlas—incorporating partner feedback, expanding datasets, and advancing modeling approaches to keep the system accurate and useful over time. Atlas is updated regularly throughout the year; our Partnership Success Managers share information with partners on the relevant updates.
One of the primary ways that our partners access Atlas by Murmuration data is through Organizer through creating communities and viewing analytics. Learn more about Atlas Data using these resources:
