Our Canvassing tool facilitates in-person interactions, which are critical to building strong relationships in your community.
Admins and Managers use the Organizer platform to create a Canvassing effort that includes Scripts with branching logic to help Canvassers follow a natural conversation flow, with next questions triggered by answers to previous questions. They also create Lists of individuals that are visualized on a Map, add Canvassers to the mobile app, create Turfs and assign Canvassers, monitor the effort, and edit the effort post-launch.
Canvassers conduct their in-person engagement using one of our Canvassing mobile apps, either for iPhone or Android. They can engage door-to-door with specific individuals on a List, or at a stationary location with any individuals who stop to talk to them. Canvassers assigned to a door-knocking effort can navigate through the map or through the List view. If they encounter new individuals who aren't on their list, they can add them as they go along. As they engage, they will submit responses to questions in the Script, and will also submit a Disposition for each individual or household they interact with or attempt to contact.
